What inspired this print?

The original Victorian piano shawl

The source of this print was a vintage victorian-era wool piano shawl my sister (a vintage dealer) gave me. The original is 8’ x 5’. I scanned portions in 9”x11” segments -because that’s how big my scanner is, and reconstructed them digitally into the shapes I needed to create the robe layout.
